Chapter 2 

I stared into Liams eyes and took a deep breath as I took a step back. Liam just stood there staring at me. Before I knew it he was standing in front of me. I nearly screamed but something made me stop and watch what he would do. He leaned closer and traced a fingertip down my cheek. I shuddered at the sensations he caused. I could literally see the electricity as he laid a hand on my waist before he trailed his hand up my body as he pulled me closer. I looked up at him as his lips lowered to mine.

I drowned in his kiss. Wrapping my arms around him I couldn't help the moan that slipped out as our lips parted. He lifted me into his arms, my hands slipped up to his shoulders as he carried me to the bed. I bounced once before he was there holding me down as his lips crashed into mine making me moan and arch towards him. His hands roamed my body and as they dipped and curved my eyes opened and I caught our shadows moving at a much more different pace than us. My shadow was completely wrapped around his and when her hand scratched down his shoulder four long red welts appeared on his shoulder and he groaned softly before burying his face in my neck and licking there.

I turned my head to the side as his lips trailed down my neck and across my shoulder. I could barely breathe as one of my legs moved and wrapped around his waist pulling him closer. Liam growled as he grabbed the hem of my t-shirt and pulled it up and over my head. He looked down at me before cupping my breasts in his hands before leaning down and tracing the lace edge of my bra. I moaned and pulled him closer. He chuckled against me before his lips trailed down my stomach and unbuttoned my jeans. Sliding them off he trailed his hand up my thigh.

I reached for him and cupped his face in my hands as I pulled him back up to my lips. I don't know what came over me but one second our lips were meshed together in a soul searching kiss the next I was nuzzling his shoulder before I opened my mouth and bit him. He growled low in his throat as he held me to him. I released him with a moan as he sank his own teeth into my shoulder. The next thing I knew I was lying underneath Liams naked body on top of my own.

"You're mine, Megara." He whispered against my lips as he sank into me. I moaned as I arched into him. In that moment I knew nothing in the world would ever compare to Liam.

I jerked awake as I felt someones arm wrapped around my waist. When I looked over I sighed in relief. It was only Liam. For a moment I had thought I was back in the confines of the pack leaders tent. Lying back down next to Liam I tried to relax. 'He will never force you to do anything.' My wolf whispered sleepily. I took a deep breath and turned in Liams arms so I was facing him. I smiled to myself as I stroked a hand down his cheek. Whoever would of thought I would be lying in the arms of my mate? Certainly not me.

Liams eyes opened and he stared at me for a long minute before he smiled and leaned forward. Pressing a kiss to my lips I sighed and wrapped my arms around him, "Hey." He whispered as he pushed my hair out of my face.

"Hey." I whispered back a bit more nervous with him awake than I was when he was asleep. I could feel myself blush as I ducked my head and tried to slip out of the bed to go to the bathroom

Liam grabbed my hand before I could stand, "You're not going anywhere." He said with a grin and pulled me closer to the bed.

I sighed and looked over at him, "Unless you want me to pee all over the bed I suggest you let go." I said and laughed when he let go of my arm. I leaned over and gave him a kiss as I grabbed the blankets and whipped them off of him. I wrapped them around myself, walked out of the room and started down the hall opening all the doors until I found the bathroom.

A couple minutes later I walked out of the bathroom and found Skye standing there, "Sorry, I didn't know you were waiting to use the bathroom."

Skye laughed, "Just wanted to know if you were hungry." He said and leaned against the wall.

"Yeah I am." I said hesitantly making him frown at me.

"Megara, why is it that my pack hasn't met you? I mean our packs do lots of things together and we've never seen you." He said looking down at me with a frown.

My eyes widened and I looked away, "It's embarrassing." I whispered and to me a real shame in what kind of parents I had. They didn't even try to protect me. I could tell Skye was still looking at me waiting for me to answer, "I don't think it's something I should tell you." I finally said and started down the hall towards the room I had shared with Liam.

He stared at me as I walked in and closed the door, "So...that question Skye asked you." He started making me stare at him. 

I narrowed my eyes at him, "You were listening?"

Liam shrugged, "It happens. Anyways will you tell me?" He asked as he stood from the bed and walked over to me.

I looked away, nervous. I was my packs dirty secret. Would Liam see me any differently if I told him the truth? I looked up into his eyes before saying, "When I was twelve my parents brought me to our Alphas tent and left me there. It was only later that I learned that he had chosen me out of every girl in the pack to be his...his 'companion'. I wasn't allowed to leave his tent for any reason." I whispered and closed my eyes not wanting to see the disgust on his face as I told him the rest, "He raped me. Almost every day for eight years. He took everything I wanted to give to my mate."

"That's why you ran." Liam said as he cupped my chin in his hand and lifted my face to his. When he saw that my eyes were closed his grip tightened a bit, "Open your eyes." He growled and when they fluttered open he closed the distance between us and kissed me.

I pulled back as tears gathered in my eyes, "He even stole my first kiss from me." I whispered as a tear ran down my cheek as he pulled me into his arms and hugged me close I began to sob against his chest. Tears ran down my face and onto his chest before he pulled me up into his arms and cradled me close. I wrapped my arms around his neck and sobbed into his shoulder. One of his arms was under my knees and the other wrapped my around my shoulders as he turned his face into my hair and sighed softly.

He pulled back, my feet slid to the floor as he cupped my cheek in his hand and looked down at me, "You're never going back there." He whispered softly as he slid his right hand into my hair and softly wiped my tears with the thumb of his left hand.

"You're not disgusted by me?" I asked him softly and watched as his eyes lit up with anger.

"Never." He growled and pulled me close again just as someone knocked on the door.

"Hey Megara you said you were hungry, we have breakfast ready." Skye said through the closed door before I heard him walk away.

Liam smiled down at me before letting me go and putting some clothes on. He walked into the closet and came back with jeans, a turquoise v-neck and underwear, "Here get dressed." He said and waited until I was dressed before leading me out of the room, down the hall and into the large kitchen.

Skye and Gabriel smiled over at me from where they sat at the kitchen table. Grant was at the stove making something to eat, "Did she tell you?" Skye asked Liam as he sat down and pulled me into his lap. I blushed and looked away from them. I stared out the window watching the crowds of people.

Liam nodded, "Yeah. We'll leave for the temple after we finish eating." He said as he stroked my hair out of my face and pushed a plate full of food towards me.

I smiled at him and began to eat my food with my fingers, Skye smiled and pushed a silver thing towards me, I ignored it as I listened to them talk to each other about complete nonsense. When I finished I pushed the plate away and went to stand only to have Liam wrap an arm around me. I looked over at him and he was smiling over at me, "What?" I whispered as he leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine.

Liam pulled back and shook his head before he nuzzled my neck, "You guys go pack up." He said to Grant, Skye and Gabriel.

"Everything's already in the car." Grant said and laughed when Liam jerked away.

"I guess we should get going." He said and waited until I stood before he grabbed my hand and led us through the apartment and out into a spacious hallway towards a bank of elevators. Liam hit the down button. While we waited Skye and Gabriel started a bit of a shoving match. Liam just shook his head and held me close to his side. 

I sighed softly as the elevator doors opened. We stepped in and Grant pressed the parking level button. We rode down in silence. When the doors opened it showed the garage. We stepped off and Liam grabbed hold of my hand and led me towards a car. He opened the passenger door and helped me in. I sat down in the most comfiest seats in the world. Grant, Skye and Gabriel got in while Liam sat in the drivers seat and smiled over at me, "What kind of car is this?" I asked him as slid a fingertip across the soft red leather of the seat.

"Its a BMW X5." Liam said as he started the car and pulled out of the parking spot and heading out onto the street.

"Is that a good thing?" I asked and frowned when Grant and Skye laughed, "I'll take that for a yes." I said as I looked out the window at all the people in amazement. So many people and Liam had still managed to find me, "How long were you guys following me?"

"Not long, about a day or so." Grant said as he settled back in his seat. 

I continued looking out the window as my eyes widened. They'd begun following me the moment I had stepped foot into the city, "You should relax Megara, we won't be there for awhile." Liam said as he squeezed my hand. I smiled over at him and settled into the seat. 

I felt so safe with Liam it almost scared me. I half expected that he was just playing with me and he was going to hand me over to my pack at any moment. I relaxed completely as I noticed that we were heading out of the city. Liam let go of my hand for a second to turn on the radio before reaching over again and placing his hand on my thigh. I glanced at him from underneath my eye lashes and smiled when I saw him looking back at me before he turned his gaze back to the road. 

Music poured out of the speakers as I pressed a button on the door and the window rolled down. I jerked towards Liam who only chuckled as I leaned towards the open window as wind poured in the car. I laid my head on the window, closed my eyes and fell asleep.
